It’s purely energetic…

Last week I went to see Dr. Joe, a chiropractor and energy healer. I’ve never been a fan of chiropractors, I just saw them as people who crack your bones. It may have been a little naive of me to think that, but that’s the truth.

I had a nagging pain in my left shoulder blade and lower back. I went to see him for those two basic reasons, but after I arrived he spent over an hour asking me about my emotional, mental, and spiritual needs as well. I was in for a big surprise when I realized that he had a whole different plan for me.

After an hour he finally asked me to prepare myself for a treatment. I laid on my tummy expecting the usual twisting, pushing, and cracking. Interestingly enough he never once laid his hands on my body except to assess the level of pain I was in. After doing so, he went on to do some energetic work using EFT and other energy healing modalities. He had me do some affirmations, asked me a few questions, and placed his fingers on my lower back and top of the spine. He didn’t push or pull or twist me in any way.

I’ve experienced similar strategies such as Reiki, but this was far more advanced. He spend about 20 minutes doing this energy work and then he asked me to sit up once he was done.

I sat up and I was so surprised to notice that my pain had completely disappeared. It was gone, and it still is! He was able to help me release that pain in one session.

I’m hooked, and I encourage you to try this type of energy healing if you are open to it. However, I will say that it is important to work with someone who takes time to get to know you wholly – spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. Most times our physical pain arises from emotional or mental trauma due to our past experiences.

Be sure to work with someone who:

  • treats your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies
  • has a vast knowledge and experience working with energy healing modalities
  • genuinely cares about your well-being
  • takes their time to get to know you

If you’ve had a great experience with energy healing techniques, please share them, would love to hear from you.
